FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How can I book an appointment, exam or treatment?

You can book your appointments and exams in one of the following ways:

  • Email: sending an email to medmulher@outlook.pt , including your preference for the doctor, availability of dates and times and indicating the type of consultation/examination/treatment you want;

  • Online: completing this appointment request form;

  • Telephone: 217801241. Due to the current context, our telephone line has been overloaded, we ask for your understanding;

  • In person: in the clinic.

How can I confirm, change or cancel an appointment?

You can do it in one of the following ways:

  • Email: sending an email to medmulher@outlook.pt , identifying your full name and date of birth and indicating the appointment, exam or treatment you wish to confirm/change/cancel. In case you wish to make a change, please indicate your availability of dates and times. This will be the quickest way.

  • Phone: Calling us on 217801241.

Does MedMulher have an agreement with my insurance / health agreement?

MedMulher does not work with any insurance/health agreements.

What payment methods does MedMulher accept?

Payments to MedMulher can be made in the following ways:

  • Debit card

  • Cash

  • Bank check

  • MBWay

What documents do I need to bring to my appointment?

On the day of your appointment, you must bring a civil identification document (citizen card, identity card, passport or other). To prescribe medication, your health system user number is required.

How long do exam results take to be ready?

Most exam results performed at MedMulher will be made available immediately after they are performed. The exams performed by an external laboratory (cervical cytology and biopsies) will be sent directly to your email by the laboratory and, on average, you should have the results in 5-10 days.

How can I access the results of an exam?

How can I change my personal data (mobile phone, address or others) in the customer file?

You can inform us of any changes to your personal data in the following ways:

  • Email: sending an email to  medmulher@outlook.pt , identifying your full name and date of birth and indicating the changes; 

  • Telephone: calling us on 217801241;

  • In person: in the clinic.
