  • Honorary Consultant at King’s College Hospital (2005-2015)

  • Training in Fetal Surgery at King’s College Hospital in London with Professor Kypros Nicolaides (2007)

  • Performed the first fetal surgery in Portugal (2013)

  • Coordinates the Prenatal Diagnosis and Fetal Surgery Center at MAC (2017), which became the national reference center for fetoscopy-guided laser therapy (2018)

  • Chair of the Establishment Committee of the College of Differentiated Obstetric Ultrasound Competence of the Medical Association (since 2019)

  • 19 scientific articles published in indexed journals

  • Speaker/moderator in over 90 national and 20 international scientific meetings
